We are taking action with a unique environmental effort to clean up our public spaces and roadside byways by the elimination of discarded personal trash.  Our approach is two-fold and conveys the following messages:  (1) Don’t litter in the first place and (2) Let’s pledge as individual Americans to begin clean-up attempts by each person, each day, picking up one piece of trash. The actions each of us can take as individuals are simple but the problem is immense.

We challenge each of you reading this message to start observing in your own communities.  Take a drive or a walk and look around at the trash! Continue to look and observe and you will become as appalled as we did.
